The slow pace isn't bad enough, the worse part is what you all forgot: that the whole time she is whinning about how the place is draining her energy.

Yeah baby, then why do you walk as fast as a siege turtle? AND she's a mesmer!!!

The point of understanding the quest she is telling you she is weak as heck and can't move fast because the place is draining her energy. Once she gets some distance she speeds up.

Leah's fine, leave her alone. The only problem is for whiners that demand instant gratification or kids who's 'mom says that have to go eat' and adds to everyone's stress levels.
Take heroes if it bothers you, they have all the patience in the world.

She just needs a pair of running shoes
P.S. Just don’t do what I did the first time… I killed everything then went and got her waited the agonizing 10 minutes for her to walk. Then realized that I missed a popup wurm and I was not close enough to kill the wurm before it killed her

I have no problem with her, done that bonus with a very relaxed group and a lot of chatting, some added a skill cap and we also finished the mission, just because. It might have been a guild group, probably.

I hate her just because she walked so damn slow...after clearing the stuff out of the way I was way too impatient for her to actually get there. And there were like.... three things I didn't clear because they were not in her path, and she went straight for them. >< Oh well. She's not that bad, just annoying.

We've got a several people with Legendary Guardian in our guild and this is one of our least favorite HM / NM missions to help out on. It's just so annoying. Man she's slow.
Actually my last round we cleared out the area above and let her find her own way. She did just fine. Think I'll be doing it that was from now on.

Dude I just did this a few days ago. Leah Stone lacks something called intelligence. WT BLEEP why can't she F'ing RUN!!! or at least swiftly walk. A SEIGE TURLE?!?! That'd be if she was on speed dude, she drudges at the speed of growing grass. I could watch paint dry before she could get to her destination which takes a normal character without speed modification while killing people, maybe a half hour on a slow day.
I AGREE LEAH STONE SHOULD BE STONED! it could be like a minigame for some event. Stone Miss Stone.

I haven't done that Bonus (or even attempted it) in like a year, and it was with Guildies so we were successful, but if I recall, yes, I do hate her.
She has to follow the players instead of some set path crap, also, if I recall, she changes her speed at the worst times. It's worse when PuGs go get her BEFORE clearing out the big mobs of nuking Hydras who love to target her, and when PuG monks forget to heal her when crossing lava (I still question how ghosts can catch fire). She also said that she was fading away and if you took too long she'd vanish, right? Can anyone confirm (too lazy to wiki it) if she does go poofity-poof if you dawdle? If so, that's unfair seeing how we pretty much have no say in how fast she moves.
Oh well. Despite the fact GW should be treated as a single game, ANet seems to focus their attention moreso on only their newest work - which is now GW2...

I can stand her slowness if it wasn't for the useless getting close to the door, then turning and walking down that walkway, then coming back at a glacial pace. If she just went for the door it would be fine, but she has to do some sight seeing while her energy is apparently "being drained."
